Tyler O’Hara, the privateer from Petaluma, California learned the hard way about showing up unprepared. With little to no time, and an un-prepped XR1200, Tyler made the long trip to Daytona Beach for round one of the Vance & Hines XR1200 Series only to spend more time in the paddock than riding on the track. Tyler left Daytona with a DNF.
With a long 2 month gap before round two, Tyler took full advantage of the time and showed up to his home track, Infineon Raceway and finished just off the podium in 4th place.
Since the Infineon round, Tyler has been a constant threat on the track and even made his way onto the podium at the most recent round at Barber Motorsports Park with an impressive 3rd place. Tyler is on a roll and definitely one to watch, so keep an eye out for him at the next round of action at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course July 8-10.
