Vance & Hines at Daytona Bike Week

Santa Fe Springs, CA, March 21, 2012 – Daytona Bike Week has launched the 2012 rally season, with motorcyclists from across the globe descending on the speed capital of the world, for ten days of riding, races and entertainment.

With its Show Trucks parked at both the Daytona International Speedway and Destination Daytona, Vance & Hines presented plenty of excitement with several brand new products debuting at both locations.

Easily mistaken for a Road King, the new Dyna Switchback sports the amenities of a first class tourer with the nimble handling of Harley’s most agile big twin chassis. But to truly make it a dresser, the Switchback needs the finishing touch of dual exhaust system. To answer the call, Vance & Hines has introduced the first true dual exhaust system for the Switchback, available in two varieties. At Destination Daytona, Vance & Hines unveiled its Switchback Monster Duals, a true dual full exhaust system combining Dresser Duals head pipes with custom integrated brackets to mount a pair of the deep-toned Monster Round slip-ons. And at the Speedway, Switchback Twin Slash Duals debuted, also featuring the same Dresser Duals head pipes and brackets, along with Twin Slash Round slip-ons.

Also making its first appearance was the upcoming Hi-Output Stainless line, the ultimate exhaust systems for high performance engines like the Screamin’ Eagle 120R or Pro 103, featuring aircraft quality 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, tapered head pipes and quick access wideband tuning ports. Available as a 2-into-1 as well as touring duals, the Hi-Output Stainless line will be on display at rallies throughout the year at the Vance & Hines Show Trucks.

Daytona Bike Week also signaled the start of the third season of the AMA Pro Vance & Hines XR1200 Series, where top three finishers Kyle Wyman, Tyler O’Hara and Michael Barnes crossed the line separated by less than half a second. This season promises to be the most exciting to date thanks to the introduction of the XR Showdown, where the top ten in the field will compete for an extra $60,000 in prize money in the final five rounds of the championship.

Next up, the Vance & Hines Show Truck will be setup at Westworld of Scottsdale for Arizona Bike Week, happening from March 28th through April 1st. Keep up with all the latest in events at and
