The Vance & Hines Amateur MX Team was back in action this weekend at The Ranch in Anza, CA for the Southwest Loretta Lynn Area Qualifier. This race marked the first opportunity for the V&H riders to qualify for the Loretta Lynn Regional Championships upcoming in May.
In the A class, Preston Tilford looked impressive taking home 2nd place overall in the 450A class and a 3rd overall in the 250A class. On Sunday, Preston kept things going battling tough competition in the Open class and taking home 2nd place in the Pro/Am money race.
Steven Tokarski, picked up where he left off in Alabama, continuing to show the B class he is at the top of his game and a national contender. Steven dominated in all three classes he entered taking home the overall win in 250B, 450B, and Collegeboy (17-24).
With the solid results this weekend both riders have now made it thru to the next round of qualification at the regional championships. The team has a couple weeks home before preparing for World Mini Grand Prix in Mesquite, NV, April 10-17th.
