Vance & Hines is pleased to announce that 17-year-old British racer, Paul Coates will be riding for the Vance & Hines MX Team for the 2012 amateur outdoor season.
Having spent the last four years developing his skills at the Millsaps Training Facility in Georgia, Paul had a breakout year in 2011 with several impressive national event results, including overall victories in the four-stroke Motocross and Supercross classes at the recent Mini O’s in Florida as well as an outstanding win in the Schoolboy class at Loretta’s last summer.
Paul will be competing in both the 250 and 450 B Modified classes aboard the Vance & Hines Yamaha YZ250F and YZ450F in all of the major nationals for 2012.
“We have been watching Paul with great interest this past year at the nationals” said team manager Josh Bulrice. “His speed, maturity and motivation really caught our attention, and now we’re looking forward to continuing his development through the amateur ranks with our team.”
Paul will be making his first start with the Vance & Hines team in less than two months time at the Oakhill GNC National Championships in Decatur, Texas. Keep up with all the latest throughout the season at vanceandhines.com and facebook.com/vanceandhines.
