Every summer since 1996, J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, South Dakota has put on a wonderful motorcycle charity event called, Hot Harley Nights, benefiting the Make a Wish Foundation of South Dakota. Having raised over 1.5 million dollars for the foundation, Hot Harley Nights has enabled hundreds of wishes to be granted to children with life threatening illnesses.
With summer in full swing, it’s a great time to get out and ride. And the Sioux Falls area boasts some of the most scenic riding routes in the state. But besides the riding, J&L Harley has a whole host of activities planned for the event, including a silent auction and raffle, ride-in motorcycle show, food, live music and vendors.
It’s also a great opportunity to see and learn about all the latest exhaust systems, air intakes and electronics from Vance & Hines, including Throttlepak, designed for 2008 and later Harley Touring models with fly-by-wire throttles. Throttlepak eliminates throttle lag and puts the control back in your hand. It’s a great add-on for taking a scenic ride this weekend from J&L out to Vermillion, Pipestone or Mitchell.
The Vance & Hines Show Truck will also be setup for sales and installation with J&L Harley from Thursday, July 7 through Saturday, July 9 in the J&L parking lot. So come on out to J&L this week for Hot Harley Nights and have a great time while being part of a great cause.
