2011 Laughlin River Run Rally Recap

vhblog

5/2/11 Santa Fe Springs, CA – This year marked the 29th running of the Laughlin River Run, and for the sixth year in a row, the Vance & Hines Show Truck made its way to the little casino resort town on the Colorado River to be a part of the festivities. With great weather and enthusiastic crowds, this year’s river run was outstanding.

Staged outside the Edgewater Casino, the Vance & Hines Show Truck put on display the latest and most popular offerings for late model Harley-Davidson motorcycles. And while Touring models tend to be the most dominant bike seen at the rallies, Softail owners were represented in bigger numbers than what’s been seen in recent years.

And the most popular request from Softail owners at this event was the new Pro Pipe Chrome. Newly updated with improvements in both performance and style, the latest generation of the Vance & Hines Pro Pipe legacy features stepped headers, a larger volume merge collector and a stepped megaphone.

Working with J&P Cycles for the event, customers ready to make their purchase were able to get their exhaust and have it installed right their on the lot, along with a Vance & Hines Fuelpak and VO2 Air Intake. And the Throttlepak has been gaining lots of noteriety for those looking to eliminate throttle lag on their fly-by-wire Harleys.

Next up, the Vance & Hines Show Truck will be headed to Big Bear Chopper’s 9th Annual Ride the Mountain happening on June 11th in beautiful Big Bear Lake, California. And then it will be off to Ananmosa, Iowa for the J&P Cycles Open House, June 25-26th. Keep up with all the latest events at vanceandhines.com and at facebook.com/vanceandhines.
